Obama's whistle stop tour

OK, so "stop" isn't really an appropriate word in this case. We went to see the Obama-Biden inauguration train on their way to D.C. yesterday. We'd missed a chance to see them speak in Wilmington earlier in the day, so we decided to catch the train as it passed through Newark on their way to Baltimore.  We gathered with a thousand or so other people at the Newark train station to wish the President/Vice President-elect our best.  Well, we did get a glimpse...

That's the train passing at about 60+ mph.  We were hoping they'd slow a bit as they came through the station, but at least, as one resident was quoted in a local news article, they "knew we were here".

It's tough to make out in the photo, but that's Joe Biden waving to the crowd from the back of the train as it passed by.
