Bear dressed up for the occasion, and was one of the darlings of the party.
The next morning, she got a chance to go canoeing for the first time. She wasn't very good at sitting down; instead she kept on sampling the water on both sides of the canoe. We never got the final verdict, which side was better.

Looks like a great first canoe experience! our first time in a canoe with Festo (yellow lab) resulted in more time being spent un-tipping the canoe than in the canoe itself. We can now finally get everyone in safely (including dog #2, Pitney) but it has taken quite a bit of practice...
